The 2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference was held in Madrid, Spain and a few NGOs like Norvergence showed their interest in the outcome of the meeting. There were almost 200 countries that attended the meeting focusing on the issue of climate change.

Whereas some issues remained unresolved like the agreement failed to resolve issues like creating rules for trading carbon emission and the main agenda that is helping the developing countries pay for climate damages.

The article “who will pay for the damage done by climate change?” talks about the meeting agenda and the points like Article 6 that governs international carbon markets. Global greenhouse gas emission was again a topic of concern in the meeting as the greenhouse gas emission was recorded highest this year and shows no signs of slowing down.

This climatic situation is a challenge for each one of us even for NGOs like Norvergence who are constantly working to reduce environmental pollution and the greenhouse effects.
