Questions asked by Our Team to Teymur Rzayev
Now. I made a painting which I submitted to the United Nations Global Call out to Creatives – help stop the spread of COVID-19. Out of 16,000 artists from around the world who responded to this initiative, all artists who participated in this competition including Rana, Selva and myself from my Atelier were selected by the UN. All of our submitted paintings got selected by the United Nations and I am very proud of this. With quarantines in place, I am conducting my University and Atelier classes digitally
Most definitely there is. I think the human caused environmental damage, the pollution, all contributed to the rapid spread of Coronavirus which in essence is natures cry for help. I hope this is a wakeup call for us to make the needed adjustments to learn to live in harmony with nature going forward.
The Balat Culture Center is scheduled to reopen at the end of May. So, our Atelier’s Climate Change Art Show in Istanbul is still on from May 30 to June 12.
